This was Kylie's second UK release. It was written again by Stock, Aitken & Waterman and released through PWL. The catalogue number for it was PWL 12. It was released week commencing 14th May 1988 and reached position Number 2. It remained in the charts for 12 weeks. This single again came from the album "Kylie". The b-side of the 7" version was an instrumental version and the CD version included an extended version of "Got To Be Certain" along with "I Should Be So Lucky (extended)" and "Got To Be Certain (Out For A Duck, Bill, Platter Plus Dub Mix").
