This was Kylie's first UK release. It was written by Stock, Aitken and Waterman and was released on their PWL label. It entered the charts week commencing 23rd January 1988 and eventually reached the Number 1 position. It stayed at the top of the charts for 5 weeks. The b-side was an instrumental version of the song. The catalogue number of the single was PWL 8 and it came from the album "Kylie".
