"Kids" was the third single to be released from the "Light Years" album. It was Kylie's 4th duet following collaborations with Jason Donovan, Keith Washington and Nick Cave. It was released in October 2000 and reached number 2. It was kept off number 1 by U2's "Beautiful Day". It stayed on the charts for 18 weeks, which was the longest chart run of any of her singles up to this point. The song was written by Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers. The b-sides of the singles were all Robbie Williams tracks but cd 1 also contained the video. The track also featured on Robbie's "Sing When You're Winning" album but had a different ending in which Robbie does a rap. This was cut for Kylie's version.
