KYLIE
This was Kylie's first album release and was released on the PWL label in 1988. It went to Number 1 on the 27th August, where it remained for 4 weeks, and it then returned to the top on 19th November, remaining there for a further 2 weeks.
In total, it stayed in the charts for 67 weeks which is, so far, her longest running album. At the time, Kylie was the youngest female to score a number one album with her debut release. This remained until 2004 when the record was taken by Joss Stone.
