"On A Night Like This" was the second single to be released from the "Light Years" album. It was released in September 2000 and reached number 2. It stayed in the charts for 8 weeks. It was written by Steve Torch, Graham Stack, Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling. It was released on the Parlophone label as 2 cd's and a 12" single. CD 1 also contained two remixes which were "Rob Searle Mix" and "Motiv8 Nocturnal Vocal Mix". CD 2 contained a new track "Ocean Blue" which was written by Kylie and Steve Anderson and the Almighty remix of "Your Disco Needs You" from the "Light Years" album. "Your Disco Needs You" was written by Kylie, Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers. The 12" version contains the "Rob Searle" and "Bini & Martini Mix" and a new "Halo" remix. The 12" promo version is a double 12" and contained the "Motiv8" remix, "Rob Searle Remix", Almighty remix of "Your Disco" and the "Bini And Martini Vocal Mix" version of "On A Night".
