"Word Is Out" was the first single released from the "Let's Get To It" album. It was released in September 1991, reached number 16 and spent 5 weeks on the chart. It was written by Stock & Waterman. The b-side of this single was a non-album track called "Say The Word, I'll Be There". This is one of my favourite all-time Kylie songs. This was written by Kylie, Mike Stock and Pete Waterman. It appeared on the "Greatest Remix Hits 2" compilation cd. The second sleeve shown above is from a limited edition 12" version which has "Kylie Minogue Aug 91" etched onto the b-side of the record.
