Giving You Up was the second new song to be released from the Ultimate Kylie cd collection. It was released on 3rdApril 2005 and entered the chart at it's highest position of number 6. It stayed in the charts for a total of 8 weeks. It was released as 2 cds and a 12" picture disc single. CD 1 included the new song "Made Of Glass" which was written by Minogue, Cooper, Higgins, Cowling, Powell and Gray. CD 2 included two remixes, (Alter Ego Dub and Riton Redub Vox) as well as the video. The video featured Kylie growing taller and taller until she reached 20 feet high! The 12" version of the single included the two remixes from CD 2 along with the original version.
